Welcome! I am a senior undergraduate student at the University of Kentucky and a Presidential Scholarship recipient.  I am pursuing a double major in Mechanical Engineering and Mathematics. As a first-generation student, I have strived to embrace every opportunity afforded to me throughout my collegiate experience, both on and off campus. I am a member of Tri-Alpha Honors Society and Engineers Without Borders, as well as an avid member of the UK Powerlifting Team. During my freshman summer, I participated in the University of Kentucky  Education Abroad program, allowing me to study renewable energy in Zaragoza, Spain. During the summer of 2023, I completed a project-oriented internship with Vulcan Materials Engineering Division where I utilized CAD to redesign and develop new plant equipment to address structural and safety concerns. I am a stroke and traumatic brain injury survivor, utilizing my personal experience to educate and encourage others through various speaking engagements. I also support numerous brain injury awareness events and fundraisers through involvement and mentorship. I look forward to an internship in the summer of 2025 with Procter & Gamble in Cape Girardeau, MO. Upon graduation, I plan to continue to grow as an engineer and business leader in the work force with a goal to later pursue an MBA.
