EWB Chicken Coop

During my sophomore year, I joined the club Engineers Without Boards. The club had been working on this new chicken coop-building project for the local humane society for a few weeks before I was a member. At my first meeting, I heard of the problems that had put the project on hold. These problems included a lack of tools and other supplies and a lack of construction experience among the group. From the start, I was able to assist the group with the construction knowledge I gained while working as a Sales/Maintenance assistant at Bay Side Yacht Sales and by supplying all the necessary tools for the build. Working as a team we were able to finish the project before the semester ended. My involvement in the project led me to become the Vice president.
