Escape Ladder

I worked as a project engineer intern for Vulcan Materials during the summer of 2023 in Nashville, TN. My first project of the summer was to design an access/escape ladder for a tower at the Danley quarry rock plant. The purpose of this ladder was to save workers time and energy by eliminating their need to walk around the tower to get from platforms 1 to 2. The ladder also gives them a secondary escape route should anything go wrong in the tower. A third-party group will be fabricating my design in January of 2024.
